Wendy began her career in Hannahville working two years for a private child-placing agency with an office located in the Hannahville Social Services department. Wendy then took a job working directly for Hannahville Social Services as a Healthy Homes Specialist and Adult and Child Protective Services worker for 8 years. Now, for almost six years, Wendy has been the Indian Child Welfare Act Worker (I.C.W.A) and Healthy Homes Specialist for Hannahville Social Services and provides Qualified Expert Witness (Q.E.W.) testimony when needed.

Wendy also does the Foster Care licensing for the Hannahville Indian Community, as well as the Guardianship home studies for Tribal Court, when needed.

In 1995, Wendy received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Northern Michigan University and has had a State of Michigan Social Work Technician’s License since her graduation.
