Jodi Larson

Certified Prevention Specialist

Jodi is the Prevention Specialist with Hannahville Behavioral Health through the Native Connections Grant.  She approaches prevention of substance abuse and suicide through a cultural perspective – “culture is prevention.”  She is a graduate of NMU with a bachelor in Criminal Justice and minor in Substance Abuse.  From MSU she went on to obtain her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  She is also a former Marine and descends from the Huron Tribe.  Jodi feels fortunate for the opportunity to work with the Hannahville Potawatomi tribe and has been here since January of 2018.
